Adding HTML or Graphics to your AudioWeb Member Posts.
Including HTML

AudioWeb now lets you include HTML and or graphics to your member posts including: Classified Ads and Auction decriptions, Reviews, Club Information and Event Calendar. This way you can make your posts as creative as your HTML skills allow. Posting HTML couldnt be simpler.  Simply copy and paste the html source you have generated in a HTML editor between the <Body> and </Body> tags into the desctription text box of the new item you are posting. You will have a chance to review what it looks like when you complete and submit the entry form.

In a new Review for example, you might want to take advantage of some html's formatting features. Here is typical small HTML page:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>SuperSonic CD-1 Review</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<center><h2>The SuperSonic CD-1</h2></center>
<center><i> CD Transport</i></center>
<center><img src="http://www.discovery.com/cams/gallery/orangpic.gif"></center>
<hr>
I have owned the.......
<h3>Product Hightlights</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lots of blinking lights </li>
<li>Plenty of knobs and buttons</li>
<li>WoW! Talk about loud!</li>
<li>Responds to sign language requests for juice and M&Ms</li>
</ul>
</BODY> </HTML>

If you copied and pasted the lines between the body tags (but not including them) your Review would look like:

The SimianSonics CD-1

CD Transport

I have owned the.......

Product Hightlights

Adding a Graphic to Your Post.

Embedded in or instead of, your html code you can post a link to an image url. The basic statement looks like this:
<img src=http://www.website.com/mypicture.jpg >

Www.website.com should be replaced with the address of the website where the image file is located. Mypicture.jpgshould be the name of the file.

In a new Classified Ad for example you might enter text in the Item Description like..:

1 Stupendous Colossal Music Welder - 5000 basic power amplifier. Buyer pays shipping blah blah blah.....
<img src=http://www.website.com/MusicWelder5000.jpg>

When visitors check out you ad they will see your ad description and image file.
