AudioWeb cares about the privacy of our members and uses the information that gets collected about you sparingly.

This statement discloses AudioWeb’s policies pertaining to the collection, use and third party disclosure of AudioWeb Member information and site usage for the entire AudioWeb site. We may change these policies for any reason, at anytime, at our sole discretion. However, no new use will be made of any individually identifiable information without first providing notification and the option to opt-out or otherwise prevent its use.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into but not limited by the terms of the AudioWeb Membership Agreement.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Information we collect about AudioWeb members

• Contact information: Member Name, Name, Company Name, Address, phone/fax and email address.
• Survey question responses if you choose to participate in any surveys.
• Credit card/checking account information if you transact any business with us. To provide a high level of security, some sensitive information (such as credit card information) is only partially displayed online for your protection. To access this information in its entirety, you must contact a customer service representitive directly by emailing support@audioweb.com.
• Site business activity including auction activity (selling, bidding) classified ads placed, and other purchases made on AudioWeb.
• Site usage.
• Member Rating and Feedback other AudioWeb members may post about transacting business with you.
• Any and all correspondence of any kind, between AudioWeb and you and between AudioWeb and a third party concerning you.
• At any time, you may later review or update any personally identifiable information that we collect from you online by submitting a request to support@audioweb.com.

What AudioWeb does with your information
Internally we will potentially use the information we collect about you to:

• Contact you.
• Enforce the AudioWeb Membership Agreement.
• Help resolve disputes.
• Troubleshoot problems you or others may experience with the site.
• Customize the site and advertising for you based upon your prior activity on AudioWeb.
• Track site usage
• Market AudioWeb more effectively.

How is your member information disclosed to others?

Visitors to AudioWeb who are not members see:

• Your Member name, City, State, and Country

Other AudioWeb Members

• Your Member name, City, State, and Country.
• Any additional Contact information you have chosen to make available to other members. This could include your: Name, Company Name, mailing address, and Phone/Fax numbers. Your email address is never explicitly available in an effort to prevent spammers from acquiring it.
• Your Member Rating and Feedback.

Advertisers and Other Third Party Marketers

• Site statistics in aggregate (containing no personally identifiable information) may be shared with third parties.
• Your email address and/or Mailing Address IF AND ONLY IF you have explicitly granted us permission to share your personal Email Address and or physical address information with third party marketers will we do so.

Other Third Parties
Unfortunately, due to the existing regulatory environment, AudioWeb cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Further, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate. Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private.

Third Party Advertising
AudioWeb may work with one or more third parties that serve ads on the site. These Banner advertisements may sometimes collect information. These third party advertising agencies operate under their own privacy and security policies.

What you can do with information about other members?
By registering as an AudioWeb member you agree that any personally identifiable information related to another member of AudioWeb, employee of AudioWeb or other user of the site that you obtain through any activity associated with AudioWeb will:

• Only be used for transactions or communications related to those transactions, originating on the AudioWeb.
• Not be disclosed to any third party without AudioWeb’s AND the users prior consent.
• Not be used for any unsolicited contact with the user without the user giving prior consent after adequate disclosure about the contact.
