The World Wide Web's Largest High End Audio Site.

Back in December of 1994, AudioWeb was created to provide Audio Enthusiasts (for many of us Junkie is a more accurate word) a Web resource for better enjoying their hobby. We knew then, as we know now, that the Web offers unique opportunities for the interaction of audiophiles from all over the world. As database and web developers by profession (and horse trading audiophiles by avocation), we focused are energies on developing what was at the time, a sophisticated Audio Classifieds section.

To our delight and amazement the site was an instant and overwhelming hit. Since 1994 the number of visitors continues to grow exponentially. In late 1998 the site was starting to get pretty frayed around the edges. Web technology has moved far in the intervening years and AudioWeb was starting to show its age. We realized it was time to focus more time and resources on AudioWeb so that it could begin to realize its full potential.

So here we are. The site has been completely rewritten from the ground up. We have added a number of new features requested by our membership and we are just beginning to experiment with more advanced ways for members to interact with each other going forward.
